Carol Burnett and DeDe Anglin were born as conjoined twins. Conjoined at the jaw. Their surgical separation was risky, but successful. However, neither Carol or DeDe could could ever completely shut up.

Tizzie in the round

DeeDee had a weird saying: it went, "from every nook and cranny comes a little human face". Probably from some children's book, or something her insane mother taught her. Anyway, I thought of it when I took this shot and ran a photoshop lighting filter.

Papa was a rolling stone...

...where ever he made a road, was his home"... Port Lavaca 1923. Using only cutting edge technology and manpower to conquer nature. Here's where we got the "Forest Gump hands-on-the-back-of-the-ass" stance... Click image for enlargement

candid camera @ canyon lake

The oldest trick in the digital-camera book..."Hold still, honey...I'm adjusting the camera... I can't do it...hmmm... (all the while shooting video of an increasingly impatient subject). The rooftop @ Camp David at Canyon. You can almost see the dinosaur tracks from here.

Xanadu/San Pedro/AmbergrisCaye/Belize

1711 miles away. and then some. This vid has shots of Xanadu resort on Ambergris Caye, and Lamanai Archeological Reserve, deep in the mainland Belizean jungle. Xanadu has world class accomodations, and we ended up with the full top floor (3rd) looking out on the ocean, and the barrier reef. We hiked, biked, bussed, boated, taxied, swam, puddlejumped, and golfcarted for a week and we still gained a few pounds.

WHAT THE MAYAN PRIESTS SAW...

Lamanai national park in the Belize jungle. Trish left her acrophobic husband at the bottom of this Mayan temple, to make the 250 ft. climb, and shoot some video. Instead of a cool breeze at the top, it was extremely hot, and surrounded by a cloud of dragonflies. I got some good shots from a sane location, below.

Belize bites...

Belize is not all seashells and hammocks. These teenagers were baiting and feeding unrestrained adult crocodiles in 2" of water. We were told that one of them had been "having liquor drinks", and was being unprofessional (a teenager, that is...). The routine is to take one of the kids down the road to a grocery store, and get a frozen chicken. Then, watch the show, tip the kids, and go away... you hope.
